I'm going to be really jealous if you actually were there and took all those pictures.

@ Dazee Dreamer - We were actually there when we went on our New England vacation in September. It was beautiful and spooky and sad and exciting all at the same time. =) And I did take all those pictures. During our 6 day vacation I took over 800 photos. It's been hard deciding which ones to share.

Don't think I'm weird, but I love wandering through old cemeteries reading the headstones. How was the Lizzie Borden museum (I'm a sucker for museums, too)?

Ohhhh.... we LOVE Salem, Mass and have gone the last 2 years to the Salem Witch Festival (but had to miss this year - boo) anyway, I've never been to the cemetery and saw their "markers". My son and I LOVE old cemetery's - where was this one located? Thanks for sharing the pictures! :)

Oh how I love the mystery, sadness, excitment and history of Salem. Growing up I was always intrigued by the witch-hunt stories, but as an adult, I can't help but feel saddened that these poor people's lives were cut short. What brave souls. They will always be remembered, even if it is a little creepy :)

I love exploring Salem last year and would love to get back there for Halloween one year. The cemetery, amazing, and sad. Did you notice the sayings as you entered the area of the benches - things the "witches" said. Missed the 40- whacks, lol.
