The sweet momma I had the baby shower for last month delivered the little buckaroo last week. We were eager to meet him, so YD and I took a day trip into the mountains yesterday to do just that and take the momma and grandma out to lunch.
It was a pretty drive ...

What a stud! If I do say so myself :)
Thanks again for coming up! It was great to see you!
He is soooooo cute! You and the daddy (and the grandma and grandpa) are very lucky. What a fun year you are going to have!!!
Now that is one beautiful little baby!!! And the blanket is just right for him. Perfect!! I'll bet you had a wonderful day!!
It was nice to get out of town for the day. The mountain air was crisp and fresh. Seeing the beautiful new baby and his family was so much fun. And especially with his little horsie blanket. It was great!!!
I look at my almost-six-foot "baby" boy and marvel that I could cuddle him in one arm at one time. The blanket is a perfect match for him - he needs a cowboy hat.
....and thanks for the glimpse of "green" - haven't seen that for a while. Up here the signs read, "CAUTION - THE SIDEWALK MAY NOT BE FROZEN".
I looked for a knitting pattern for cowboy booties and hat -- didn't find them.
It always amazes me to think that you can have this little tiny baby that grows up to be bigger than you. That's kinda miraculous!
That is too funny ... and scary. We stopped at "The Walmart" up there and it was loaded with parkas and sweaters and boots.
Love the pictures...esp the end ones!
Awwwww, what a sweetie pie.
Thanks. It was a fun day!
He is SO sweet. Forgot what it felt like to hold such a tiny baby.
