Nothin' beats good childhood memories! Life is so different now - not bad, just different. Happy PINT!
Ah, memories. I remember catching lightning bugs, walking to get ice cream, going on the July 4th weekend and listening to the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra play on the school grounds and then loud fireworks. Thanks for helping me bring those to light.
Man...potholder looms! I used to bring one of those home practically every week for my mom!
your childhood summers sounds better than mine...happy PINT :)
Oh summer!!!! The girls and I have been busy working and playing we have so much planned in such a little time it seems. I miss those looms!!! Oh and sun brewed tea we have drank gallons already!!
I would love to join you in that quest!
I LOVED making those potholders!
To be a kid again! I love your memories!
Hey sis! Remember making "perfume" with all the rose petals in the neighborhood...making our own neighborhood "newspaper" with notebook paper tied together with yarn...and that kick-butt bicycle you had that was built like an aircraft carrier? :)))
Hey, kayembee ... that is so funny. I was just thinking about that big old blue bike a few days ago! I had forgotten about making perfume with rose petals, but the neighborhood newspaper was a kick, wasn't it?
Hey, we spent our summers that same, although I still have my eyes, lol.
I LOVED hearing the ice cream truck. I don't hear them so much anymore.
This was fantastic! I would love to be a kid again too.
