awww.. i miss my childhood summers too! but right now i enjoy the fact that i could go anywhere i want to (as long as my budget would allow) during the summer! *thinking beaches*

i know right? remember when summer "school" was for fun stuff??? now it's remedial and you have to pay for it!

but i love your memories...sound a lot like mine! riding my bike to the stables and bein' gone on my horse all stinkin day! really miss that!

Ah, memories. I remember catching lightning bugs, walking to get ice cream, going on the July 4th weekend and listening to the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra play on the school grounds and then loud fireworks. Thanks for helping me bring those to light.

Oh summer!!!! The girls and I have been busy working and playing we have so much planned in such a little time it seems. I miss those looms!!! Oh and sun brewed tea we have drank gallons already!!

Hey sis! Remember making "perfume" with all the rose petals in the neighborhood...making our own neighborhood "newspaper" with notebook paper tied together with yarn...and that kick-butt bicycle you had that was built like an aircraft carrier? :)))

Hey, kayembee ... that is so funny. I was just thinking about that big old blue bike a few days ago! I had forgotten about making perfume with rose petals, but the neighborhood newspaper was a kick, wasn't it?
