Happy Birthday, O Fierce One!

Our Youngest Daughter turns 32 today. Excuse me for just a minute ... I need to lie down!

Whew, 32 years. That is 32 years of fierce, brave and special.

Here are just a couple of little stories ...

Once when we were visiting relatives -- you were 2 years old -- their Great Dane (stop and think about how big that Marmaduke sized dog was) slurped up an M&M that you dropped on the floor. You immediately stuck your hand into his mouth, fished around, found the M&M, took it back and ate it!

When you were 7, we moved to a new city. The schools there were covering things you had already learned in your previous school so you were merrily sliding along, not working hard -- not working at all. We got a call from your teacher to come to the school immediately about something you'd done. She told us that instead of completing the class assignment that day, you had (very obviously) erased someone else's name from the top of their paper and written yours on it, then passed it forward with everyone else's. We knew she wanted us to be upset about it, but we thought it was rather ingenious, knew you'd always do well and never starve to death!

Happy Birthday, Sweetie! We Love You!!!
