I Hate Filing

My filing system really needs work ...

I can't believe I'm showing you this, but my poor scanner is buried beneath all that crap that needs to be filed and put away. I will say, I have mastered the art of balancing that stack of crap, though. If anybody walks by too fast, that baby's falling over.

When I see this, do I roll up my sleeves and get busy like the organized woman *choke* that I pretend to be?

No, I want to do this ...

Louie has the right idea. A good snooze with a blanket and a pillow would help me forget that stack of filing.

Of course, when I go into the kitchen, we lose the snooze, it's red alert and all systems go ...

Mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, mom ... whatareyoudoing??? They're never more attentive than when I'm in the kitchen. Have you ever seen that video clip of the waddle of penguins watching the spotlight dance on the wall? (Yes, a group of penguins on land is called a waddle!) Their heads move in unison to the dancing light and it is fascinating and hilarious all at the same time. That is what the dogs look like when I'm working in the kitchen ... where there is food ... and they maybe might possibly hopefully pleeeeeeeease get some.

Not today, boys. Today I'm in the mood for some pico de gallo.

If you haven't tried this, I highly recommend it. It is the delicious result of all of that fresh grown garden goodness -- if you have a garden -- which I don't. But it's so yummy. We're having it tonight piled on cheeseburgers and scooped up with baked Tostitos. Hubby was not too happy about my switch to baked chips last year, but he's getting used to them and they are healthier. And they taste great with this fantastic, amazing, citrusy pico de gallo!

So, if you're interested, I posted the recipe for pico de gallo last September. Click the link and get chopping ... it's so worth it!
